About Herbosan
Herbosan is India's first ever complete herbal sanitizer preparation for aquaculture. It has good activity against most of the pathogens encountered in aquaculture environments — developed through years of research at GeoMarine Biotechnologies.
It can be used in ponds of shrimps and fishes, in hatcheries, for sterilization of glassware and other utensils used in aquaculture operations, and in cleaning pipelines, sand filters, and other equipment. Its action is based on a powerful multi-component herbal system.
🧪 Composition
Herbosan contains antimicrobial compounds extracted from purely herbal materials. The active ingredients act synergistically against pathogenic bacteria commonly encountered in pond and hatchery systems — with no chemical additives.

Application & Dosage
📏 Recommended Dosage
- Prawn/Shrimp ponds: 1–3 litres per hectare (1m water depth)
- Fish ponds: 2–5 litres per hectare (1.5m water depth)
- Hatchery (normal): 1 ml per ton of water
- Hatchery (emergency): Up to 10 ml per ton — safe even during emergency
- Cleaning purpose: 1 in 1,000 to 1 in 10,000 dilution
- Emergency disinfection (no animals): 1 in 1,000

- Do not mix with other types of disinfectants — this could reduce efficiency
